Computer Organization and Assembly Level Programming

Course overview

Introduction to Computer Architecture and Organization, instruction set design and assembly language programming, control flow instruction, procedure calls, stack management, datapath and control, processor design, memory and I/O systems

What I'm doing

Learning assembly language programming, understanding computer architecture, and exploring the design of processors and memory systems along with data pipelining and instruction-level parallelism orders. Designing, validating and evaluating three RISC-V processors(single-cycle, software-scheduled pipeline, and hardware-scheduled pipeline) in a team of 2 by the end of the semester.

• Introduction to semiconductor technology, integrated circuit design, and digital systems.
